Porridge of Our Days: For The Humble and Nostalgic — Editorial Design

What is the earliest memory of your favorite comfort meal?

Most people can trace the aroma of their favorite meal to their childhood. This is true for me. One of my favorite comfort meals is porridge, specifically Soya porridge.

In my section of this collective book, I reflect on what makes this memory and this meal so special to me. This was part of Graphic Design class assignment called "Flavors of Copenhagen" where we were called to explore a flavor and represent it visually. I heard that many people in Copenhagen also enjoyed porridge, so I was excited to listen to their stories. Some of their responses are represented in the small italic text. My story flows through the pages in large text.

It was only a few pages of a collective book project, but it warmed by heart.
